Pictures were taken during our trip to Phuket on October 20-23, 2007.
It was cloudy with occasional rain all those days when we were in Phuket.
The ocean was peaceful.
The sky was gray most of the time.
We saw many "tsunami hazard zone"
and "tsunami evacuation route" signs -- in ENGLISH.
None of these signs existed before the tsunami in 2004.
We also saw new paintings on many beach front buildings.
The streets and shops at sight-seeing places were so exotic :
so "un-Thai".
There were many tourists from abroad.
