Taiwan

The trip was for the Chens' annual ancestor worship rituals.
My dad and his siblings took turns being the chairman.
He was the chairman of that year.

This was Ken's first trip by plane.
It took about 3 hours flying from Bangkok to Taipei.

When the plane landed in Taipei, before we unbuckled our seatbelt, Ken asked me: "Mommy, are we back to where we took off?"

* In Jan 2020 when I first posted these photos,
I do not remember whether we went out in the evenings.
Weather in the evening in Taichung during Mar- Apr was cold for our boys,
who were more used to the hot and humid tropical climate.
